Generally, we are conscious of what we wear and how we look when we dress up. Girls particularly are very conscious of their weight, not wanting to look fat or feel heavy.

These fashion tricks can help you look slimmer:

  1. Create a good foundation with undergarments: make sure you wear undergarments that fit especially your bra. Wearing the wrong size bra can create cutting lines that dig into your skin and cause your bust to spill out from the top.

Wearing underwear that is too small can create bulges and panty lines that can be seen through pants and other garments.

  1. Avoid undergarments that offer no support: Though thin bikini bottoms and thongs prevent panty lines, they cover just a small part and offer no lift or support. Try buy shorts and other styles that help hold your buttocks, stomach, and thighs. These cuts give smoother appearances.

  2. Try body sliming undergarments: For a shapely figure and keeping excess weight in check, try a body shaping undergarments. It’ll help slip over your stomach, thighs, chest, arms, and rear.

  1. Consider wearing nylon stockings with a “control top.” This works extremely well to keep your midsection flat, especially when wearing dresses and skirts.   2. Buy the right size of clothes: clothes that are too tight will show all the extra flesh you are trying to hide, the same way oversized clothes will make you feel and look bigger than you actually are.

Only your size of clothes will look good on you and  flatter your body meanwhile, the size doesn’t mean it’s meant for you, try the clothes on before buying them.

Make sure u don’t go for extremely tight and clingy clothes at the same time avoid big clothes, you want to look pretty in clothes that drape and flatter you shape, not the ones that make you look funny.

  1. Go for some black: black gives a slimming effect especially trousers, skirts and dresses, all black looks are nice and if you decide to go all black, make sure to add a little cool colour probably a coloured blouse, shoe or purse.

Choose patterns in bright or deep colours, light shades will do the opposite of what you actually want.

  1. Wear vertical neck lines: V-neck shirts, sweaters, cardigans, and other vertical necklines draw the eye up and down, elongating and narrowing your torso. Avoid horizontal necklines, like crew necks and boat necks, they may cause your shoulders and bust to appear wider.

  2. Go for A-line, knee-length skirts and dresses: A-line skirts are fitted at the hip and upper thigh, but flare out toward the knee, creating a balanced look juxtaposed to your legs.

Accessorise with shoes: high heels or platforms make your leg look long and lean it’ll elongate your legs. Avoid sandals, square toes and flats.

Ankle straps place a horizontal line at the top of your foot, which cuts off your leg and makes it look shorter.  A shorter looking leg reduces the illusion of the long slim leg.

Slim it up with your makeups: shades of lipstick keep the focus on your face instead of the body, just remember not to overdo it.

Use your hair to complement your look: stick to hair styles that elongate your face, ponytails can do the trick.

Your jewellery matters too: Go for bright, sassy, long necklaces. Stick with jewellery and other accessories that create a vertical look.

Your looks can only get better, Try a belt.  Even though it creates a horizontal line across your body, a fashionable belt tied around your natural waist may emphasize the narrowness of your waist and create a flattering, slim silhouette.
