Facebook CEO's Social Media Accounts Hacked, Password Revealed
Mack Zukerberg's Social Media Accounts Hacked, Password Revealed
CEO And Co-Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has accounts on other social networks apart from Facebook, in order to follow and supervise what is going on in other social networks.
Over the weekend, his Twitter and Pinterest accounts were hacked. OurMine Team, the group responsible for the misdemeanour, claimed to have gained access also to his Instagram account, but were not able to get details, as they were shut out before then.
OurMine Team gave the kudos to the LinkedIn password dump that gave them access to his accounts.
Millions of LinkedIn user account details leaked last month, with the company reacting by invalidating the credentials and contacting affected members to reset their passwords; but it seems Zuckerberg used the still used the same password.
Wouldn't you ask why so much is spent to protect and invariably nothing to protect his social media?
See tweet below
Twitter quickly responded to the hack and suspended Zuckerberg's account and lies was put there instead: Zuckerberg hasn't tweeted anything since January 2012.Ouch. Mark Zuckerberg's social media accounts have been hacked pic.twitter.com/KvVmXOIg5s— Ben Hall (@Ben_Hall) June 5, 2016
It is now clear that social media accounts of anyone can be hacked, no matter how strong the firewall is. However, it would be in the best interest of every LinkedIn user to change passwords.
Also remember to use passwords that only you can remember.
