X-Men: Apocalypse

This version of the X-Men series sees the re-awakening of the immortal Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), who becomes the first and most powerful mutant. After he re-awakens recruits Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and other mutants to create a new world order.

The onus is now left on Professor X (James McAvoy) and Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and a team of young X-Men to stop the menace from destroying mankind.

After watching the previous versions of the movie and the trailer of this Apocalypse one must agree that the movie contains a lot of ‘impossibilities’.

This series will be jumping ahead approximately a decade and set in the 1980’s. It is set 10 years after X-Men: Days of Future Past. As mentioned earlier, the movie would introduce a couple of young characters like the younger Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm.

In this particular series, the existence of mutants is known to the world, while some believing they are holy figures. This belief makes the mutants re-awaken Apocalypse from ancient Egypt who has the powers of a god.

It’s divides the heroes into two groups just like in Captain America: Civil War
