Nigerians React To 'Tomato Ebola'

Nigerians React To 'Tomato Ebola'

It was earlier reported that moths have threatened the supply of tomatoes in the country. It is in the light of this that Nigerians are talking about the Buhari-led administration and the economic woes the nation is facing.

Power generation is epileptic; prices of goods and services have escalated beyond what an average Nigerian can survive; the issue of new petrol price regime; exchange rates and so much more.

So many Nigerians have appealed to the Federal Government to stop paying 90% attention to fight corruption and start improving the lives of Nigerians, as it is becoming really unbearable.

However, it would be recalled that Buhari assured Nigerians of a better Nigeria, but sacrifices have to be made.

Then, Nigerians did not quite understand his words. It was related to the 'proverbic' ways of Jesus in the Bible.

But it seems many Nigerians still believe in the promises made by President Buhari and would hold on tight - as least that is what making sacrifices is all about.

The most recent case that may cause a disaster in the Nation's economy is the impending scarcity of tomatoes caused by Tuta Absoluta - rechristened: Tomato ebola.

See some reactions below:
