Manchester United Match Abandoned on Bomb Scare at Old Trafford

Manchester United's final Premier League match of the season was this afternoon abandoned due to a package that security personnel suspected to contain an explosive device. The stadium's North and west stands were evacuated as a precautionary measure, shortly before the kick off time in what the club describes as "operation Code Red". It can however not be confirmed if the device wa indeed an explosive as at the time of this report.
